How COVID19 Will Encourage Immigration in 2021

Covid-19 definitely gave a scare to the immigration industry. How can there be progress in immigration if people are no longer traveling? However, many immigration firms should be looking forward to 2021 as the pandemic is encouraging foreigners to immigrate in order to obtain a second residency or citizenship.

Although COVID-19 placed a lot of uncertainties and barriers, it opened the eyes of foreigners to clearly see that obtaining a second residency or citizenship is no longer a luxury, but a necessity to protect one’s family's future.

At the same time, those who have not made a decision for immigration prior to the pandemic are quickly realizing that they should’ve done so sooner.

Unfortunately, many foreigners do not take action until they are in turmoil. By the time something bad happens to their country, it becomes very difficult for them to seek options. Now that they are faced with the Pandemic and seeing how their freedom of mobility has been reduced significantly, 2021 may be the year to expect a higher demand for second residency and citizenship.

How Immigration Firms Can Adapt Intelligently

The most natural response is to address covid and encourage foreigners to take action. However, I believe that this tactic will not be very effective as they are likely feeling the COVID fatigue from reading and hearing about this matter every single day.

Instead, put your energy into the reasoning caused by COVID. Start by jotting down what factors are encouraging foreigners to immigrate in 2021 from the pandemic. From there, revisit your content (such as your website and sales scripts) and adjust them accordingly.
