Being found on Google is what Immigration firms strive for. This is why many of them are using Google Ads to bring in potential new customers for their business. In itself, it’s good because there is a lot of people who want to immigrate and who are looking for a consultant or a lawyer to help them with the process.

But how can your immigration found on google without paid ads?

In order to answer this, you need to first understand the context of why a lot of your prospects go on Google in the first place.

Understand why they are on Google

First, you need to realize that most prospects who are on Google are not looking for a consultation. Many are still doing their own research so that they have a better understanding of how immigration works. I believe that it is your responsibility to help educate them at any stage of their journey even if you don’t make any income out of it.

Why? Because by helping them in the early stages, you earn their trust and they see you as the expert that they can rely on.

What you want to do is to bring in those people, who are still in the early stages of their immigration journey, to come to your website and learn more about it. The way to do that is to write blog articles and publish them on your website.

When you blog, your articles are being indexed on Google. So when a person types a question about immigration and one of your articles matches their search query, it will hopefully show up as one of the results.

How Google is being used

Most people use Google as a Q&A platform. Think about some of the top frequent questions that people may ask in regards to your domain and write a blog article for each question.

For example, when I type in “Why immigrate to Canada”, the results page shows me several articles, written by immigration firms about their thoughts on this question.

If your article shows up and they click on the title, they will be redirected to your website where your article is found. This is what we call Inbound marketing. Prospects naturally come to you because you have something to offer. And this is also why we call this type of traffic “Organic”.

In addition, by regularly publishing blog articles on your website could help you better rank on Google.

Writing blog articles is only the first step. You need to think about how to navigate your organic visitors from thereon. You don’t want them to simply read the blog article and close your website. However, simply writing articles on a regular basis is already a great way to stand out from your competitors.
